Our Accommodation

All our current supported living schemes are based in North London (N18 & N17). They are all located within walking distance of each other. Hence the tenants live as part of the Paradise Community which creates opportunities for tenants to make friends with each other.

Every effort is made to create a warm and homely environment in all our houses. We strongly believe that supported housing, need not look and feel institutional.  Hence our accommodation is enchanting and unique

Our Supported Living Schemes

Every effort is made to create a warm and homely environment in all our houses. We strongly believe that supported housing, need not look and feel institutional.  Hence our accommodation is enchanting and unique.

We have studio units for people who are wheelchair bound.

The decor and furnishings have been skilfully chosen. The principal of colour theory is used throughout. Thereby colours are used to directly influence positive feelings of well being.

All tenants are encouraged to personalise their rooms by gradually buying items which they will take if and when they move on.

All accommodation is maintained to high standard of cleanliness. Our schemes undergo complete refurbishment every 4-5 years

Staffing

All staff have undergone comprehensive training to meet the varying demands of our client group. They are trained to deal with individuals with challenging behaviour and complex needs. Other training include understanding brain injury and psychological approaches in care provision. Throughout the year, staff attend a wide range of training and personal development courses to equip them to work effectively and professionally with our customers.

Our 24hr accommodation has staff on-site all day, with sleepin or waking night staff available during the night.

Our semi-independent schemes are visited by outreach staff between the hours of 8am-8pm seven days a week.

Out of Hours Service

Tenants in all our schemes can contact a member staff for assistance during the night. There is a free phone link up to oncall staff in all schemes. On-call staff is available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The accommodation is maintained to a high standard. All four of our schemes undergo complete refurbishment every 4-5 years.

We received positive feedback from a healthcare professional who told us the service was very responsive and sensitive to people’ needs. They also told us the service had been very holistic in tailoring their care and shown a high level of knowledge of how to support people with a brain injury and complex cognitive and behavioural impairments.
